We have pretty much always had parakeets in our lives and were going to get more. However, our two new kittens pounce on anything that moves. I love cats, too, and feel it's a shame I have to choose between the two.

Do you have this kind of a situation with your pet choices?

My son gave me a bird buddy forChristmas. It doesn't hold a lot of seed but the camera (and solar panels) on the feeder add to the fun. Fortunately, there are no cats around.

A cat heard me say there were no cats around - a beautiful un-collared black cat watched me put seed in the bird feeder this afternoon. I hope he moseys on out.
