Are you or your kids going to be carving up a pumpkin this Halloween? What type of pattern are you going to use? Are you going with a traditional pumpkin face or are you going to get more creative?

Anyone carved up any pumpkins yet?

I'd love to see some pumpkin pictures posted. I'm sure there's a lot of creativity out there.

I love carving pumpkins!

I once carved out a "Boo" in my pumpkin, and it turned out well (not too creative, but my carving skills aren't great, so I picked something easy, lol)!

I'll look for the picture, though it may be on our old computer that died.

Painting pumpkins is a fun alternative to carving (especially for kids too young to carve).

We've used spray paint, and decorated the faces with candy. We've also done a green "Frankenstein" pumpkin with black yarn for the hair and bolts stuck in the sides of the head.
