I am trying to crochet a beautyful snowflake but have some difficulties with understanding the pattern. Can someone please tell me what h 3 means?
from the pattern: "ch 3, in same lp work dc, h 3, and 2 dc;"
Thank you!!!
Hi: My girlfriend does Crocheting and when I asked her, she brought out the needles. She says "h 3" means "half crochet three times" ... "dc, h 3" equals "half double crochet three times." Hope this helps.
Following the entire directions you wrote, she made what appeared to be a small "teardrop" looking shape -- "chain 3 times, in the same loop work half double crochet three times and two double crochet"
I understand bowling pins much better than crochet needles.
Thank you very much Choc!
I don't know if you found the answer but it is a misprint for ch and each time you see just the h it should be ch 3 and not hdc.
