It's a Halloween decoration, actually I'm kinda glad you noticed. It's nice to know that the hard work others do here on Bellaonline gets recognized. Don't worry a turkey or something similar will be there next month.

I am so sorry you were bitten. The kids and I looked up spiders and saw the horrible damage that them blasted recluse can do. I can totaly understand your hatred of them. I will pray for you health and safety. Again I'm very sorry to hear you were bitten.

My 3 Sons and their families live in N.C. and they always caution me to watch for spiders when we are visiting. The Grandkids point out different ones that are near the woods. And say they can make you sick or even die.
My youngest son seems to have Praying Mantis around their front door at this time of year , and BAD spider webs around his home also.
I was face to face with one of these bad ones web ,near the front door, last week when we were visiting them in N.C.
He has been in this home for going on 2 years.

i was sooo lucky! it was on the towel that i wrapped around me after a taking a shower. it got me right where my arm meets the upper body, near the arm pit. i went to emergency, and they immediatly put me on Dapsone (which is used primarily for recluse bites and lepracy). and thanks be to God, I had no masticizing flesh damage. dr. said i knocked the critter off before he had the chance to give me the "full monty", plus i was on the meds within an hour of being bitten. I knew a lady one time who was bitten by a brown recluse. 6 months later, her lower leg had to be amputated. next to the black widdow, the brown recluse is the most dangerous in the country. i was very lucky!!!!

i ment "necrotizing" not "masticizing" <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> its when the flesh dies.
