I was at a fantastic cottage ceilidh yesterday and had to share this unique part of rural Irish culture with you.

The Cottage Ceilidh

With Lunasa next weekend this is the traditional time of year to have a ceilidh in your home, especially if you have visitors from overseas. Polish you tin whistle and have a bit of a hooley of your own at home this weekend why don't ya?
I'm hoping to find some good craic in Dublin and in West Cork. In Cork itself, I know I'll find it - I'm going to a wedding!

Oh, weddings are monumental affairs in Ireland! You better pack your patent hangover cure all though.

People are divided about Dublin craic, whether it still truly exists in a place that has seen such exponential change in a short time span. But follow your nose and you are sure to have fun.
