Where were you the morning of September 11, 2001?

I had taken my children to their early morning religion class. When we got home, my teens went to their rooms to start homeschooling. My daughter clicked on the news, as she always does while she sets up, and came running back out to tell us to turn on the other television. No other schooling got done that day, obviously.

At that time I worked part time in our church office. That day I went in to the office at 9 a.m.
It must have been announced on the radio just after I shut the car off and while I was walking into the office. I remember wondering why an associate pastor was on his way home to get a portable TV.
I watched it unfold with pastors and other office staff whom I love dearly.
Later, at the hair salon where I work, I watched with coworkers and clients.
