Mercury Retrograde from September 14 until October 6th 2002

Light a silver or teal colored candle and meditate and visualize how you want your life to be during the 3 weeks of a Mercury retrograde. When Mercury goes direct you can start taking action on your goals.

To Break the Curse of the Evil Eye

You will need a white candle
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon of olive oil
one small bowl
9 whole cloves

Light the candle
Put the water and oil into the bowl
visualize yourself encompassed in a white protective light
Take one clove at a time and hold it close above the flame until it ignites and immediately drop it into the bowl of water.
Repeat with remaining 8 cloves - one at a time.
The smoke and scent of the smoldering cloves will repell any evil directed at you.
When done - take the mixture ooutside and pour itinto the earth so that the negativity will be purified.

I guess I need to get some new candles, I don't have many colors here!

What would a good candle be for remembrance, with today being 9/11?

This really isn't a spell but I did make it up to help me not get all bothered when people do silly stuff like pull out in front of me in the truck or do rude things:

Bibble, Bobble, Boil, and Brew, learn to forgive or you will be through.

And yes it does help, reminds me to just let it go and I do <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Now that's a spell I like! I'm sure it will come to mind many times as I drive to work !!

I believe this one originally came from Spiral Dance by Starhawk...

Anger Spell

Go to the waters edge of some pond, river, beach, lake, etc. Find a dark colored stone along the ground. Cupping it in your palms, close your eyes and project your anger into that stone. When you feel as though all your anger is in the stone, throw it is hard as you can into the water. Then say the following:

Anger Be Gone,
Water Bind it,
No one find it,
So mote it be.

(Or something like that)

Hi. I'm usually at the computer gaming forum but when I was checking all of the forums I found this one and I noticed the "to break the curse of the evil eye" spell but now I need to know what cloves are. So if someone knows.......
