I love the Doors. I have not seen Cold Case, but I will have to check it out!

I can only think of one show off the top of my head that used a classic rock song prominently - the new Battlestar Galactica used All Along the Watchtower as an important plot device in the last two seasons.

I've been hearing a lot of Donovan lately. There have been three or four shows over the past year that have featured Donovan. I believe My Name is Earl was one of them, but I can't think of the other. He pops up in a lot of movies, too.

Can't forget that CSI & CSI Miami are themed by The Who titles; 'Who Are You?' & 'Won't Get Fooled Again'
In fact, the recent Superbowl with The Who was thoroughly enjoyed by 12 year-old granddaughter because of the association with the CSI programs. Now she wants me to get her a CD of The Who's best. <She got me there...>

I saw The Doors in concert in 1968. I drank 4 quarts of beer that night and was drunk out of my mind.
