Rehoming or Reusing Your Child's Used Books

I would never throw away a book. The idea seems awful to me!

All sorts of places like foster homes gladly want used books even if they're a bit stained or rough. There are also libraries in rural locations which crave books.

If nothing else, and the book is in really rough shape, it can be used for art projects.

I'm in an organization that supports a little free library but I am also involved in the Friends of the Library. Friends collect books for book sales. The funds collected support programs at our library.
