I haven't read all of those books - they sound good. I'm reading murder in Matera (Helene Stapinski) right now. It is a story about an ancestor from Italy who was involved in a murder. The author wants to find out what really happened and goes to Italy. I love the chapters telling about what life was like in the mid 1860s and why people immigrated.
That does sound interesting! One of my friends has the last name of Stapinski. She's an artist and so very talented!
