Hey Guys ( and Girls)

Just wondering... If I start a game with the US Version of FFX, can I use my saved games on an International game?... I want to buy the International Version, that's why I'm asking...!

Even if you don't know for sure, let me know what you think... Might help me decide!!

Thanks a bunch

well there are a couple of things u gotta know
1) international version isn't playable on american PS2 and vice versa, unless u built in a mod chip.
2) the international version has totally different things in it like the difference in sphere grids, so u can probably NOT use your US save on the international game

Well I heard if you let sum1 place a mod chip in your ps 2 that it just stops working after a few months n there goes your ps 2, but thats just what I heard

I only know that u can get one if u got contacts or from a site but then u have to buy a whole ps2 with build in mod chip and that would cost about $399,00

Thanks for the insights Gerbill

But then, can someone play the American version of a game on an European PS2? Does it work that way?

Do you know of another way I could play the International Version of FF-X on my American PS2? (I'd really like to try those Dark Aeons and the -ja spells...)

Thanks

No, an unmodified PAL console (Europe, Australia, etc.) cannot play JP and NA games.

The safest and easiest way to play Japanese PlayStation 2 games in North America is to buy a Japanese-region (NTSC-J) PlayStation 2 console (if you have the money).
