Hello Everyone,

Do you conjure with herbs?

Do you make things? Beauty preparations like creams and soaps and lotions? OR do you craft making scented sachets or pressed flower goodies? Or do you cook with them?

Anyway, do you grow any? Are they the usual ones or do you have some other more exotic that you have in your pots somewhere?

We were chatting the other day and trying to choose a favourite one in the kitchen but there were too many 'tie firsts' for this to be much of a competition ... parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, oregano, chives, basil, lavender, garlic, mint and so on. Of course a couple of spices found their way onto the list too, like chillies, cinnamon and nutmeg and friends.

Another question to ponder is the age-old one of which is better? Fresh herbs or dried? The answer is not always cut and dried and there is an argument for both sides. It just depends on what, when and where.

Anyway, let us know your thoughts,

Cheers
