BellaOnline Forums TV and Movies Drama Movies Ruth Bader Ginsburg Pics Back in Theaters

This Friday, the 25th, two films about Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be re-released. The biopic "On The Basis of Sex", starring Felicity Jones as Ginsburg, and the documentary "RBG" will be available in select theaters and VOD as a tribute to the Supreme Court justice who passed away this weekend. The screenings will benefit the Women's Rights Project, which Ginsburg co-founded in 1972.

It was sad to see this amazing woman slip away, she did so much for the world, and not just women. If anyone deserves an entire library of movies and documentaries, it's the honorable Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Can't wait to watch the two films. Thanks for posting.

Yes, Ginsburg's death was yet another blow dealt to us by the year 2020. Because of the events of this year, I've found myself watching documentaries more often. Just discovered another amazing and courageous woman, photographer Letizia Battaglia. She was the first female photographer to work for an Italian newspaper and began her career at the age of 40. Battaglia took crime scene photos of Mafia murders and was undeterred by the death threats she received on a regular basis. The documentary, directed by Kim Longinotto, is called "Shooting the Mafia".
