Sometimes we are nicer to animals than we are to other humans.

What makes Canada so great is not our talent pool as per my last article, but these wonders found only on Canadian soil.

Have a great week! But above all: be kind. If life were just about you, it would be so lonely and incredibly boring.

Happy Labor Day everyone!

Be kind, respectful, tolerant and if you're out in a public area please don't leave your trash behind. It doesn't belong there!

When smoke gets in your eye...

For the past few days people living on Vancouver Island and British Columbia mainland have been dealing with the fallout of the fires south of the border. Smoke is obscuring the skyline and reminds us that as neighbors our lives are intertwined regardless of imaginary borders.

Giant hearts to those affected by the fires.
Remember, kindness makes any situation more bearable.

Living in the prairies, people don't often think of cougars aka mountain lions but this one was spotted in Saskatchewan ampling down the street.

And once that border opens up, plan on taking the train to this northern destination to visit: The Polar Bear Capital of the World, Churchill, Manitoba a destination that made the New York Times list of must-go places.

Although I don't enjoy being the spoil-sport, but as a minimalist and environmentally concerned person, I have no other choice but to post these articles. Change always starts with one person. That person could be you.

It's never easy to stare truth in the eye and see our own errors reflected backward. We all make choices that define us. This, however, breaks my heart over and over again.

And did you know? This is what happens when ...

Education is always the key to solve any riddle and we can successfully arrive at a solution.

Great news for me this week, my novel, The Lucky Man--An Act of Malice is still scheduled for publication next spring. https://adelaidebooks.org/. Looks like I'll be in good company.

Have a wonderful week, see you soon
