Dear Tea Readers,
All the rage is cold brew tea. New idea? I don't think so, but here is what I'd like to know as an editor.... Is this something you have tried? Do you like it? Some claim cold brew is much more intense and concentrated. What are your feelings toward cold brew? I advocated a long time ago in an article here of the dangers of making Sun Tea. Bacteria starts to form on top of the tea making the tea rancid, my advice to readers back then was to try a little-known form of tea making called, at the time of writing, "Refrigerator Tea". All it is is Iced Tea made overnight in the cold so that no bacteria forms!
They are similar. but some say that overnight in the box vs. hot brew has an entirely different flavor. I will be trying experiments here at home testing the two ideas and my results will be in my next article, in the mean time your thoughts?
Have a great day!
