I am catching up on my filing today. Way overdue. Not many people are working in Memphis due to snow, so I've had a relatively easy day of emails and I'm almost through filing.

I'm hoping that getting the paper clutter corralled will enable me to focus better.

What do you do on a snow day?

We only get THAT kind of snow like once every five or six years. Last year it knocked our electricity out - so I just built a fire in the fireplace, and read while the kids played outside in the snow with their friends.

The past couple of winters seem to have been bad for the UK, but I think they are nothing compared to what a lot of other countries deal with in terms of snow. My sense is we are not geared up to it, but it may become more a norm, for instance a lot of people I know have been investing in snow tires this winter. As to what to do on a snow day - stay indoors, keep warm and have fun and/or tackle tasks I have procrastinated about...

We have snow again! I had a meeting this morning and it started snowing about noon as I was coming home. It's starting to stick now (not to roads much, they were pretty warm the last couple of days). We'll get 1 to 3 inches, probably more like 1.

So, I'm all snug in the house and finishing up my work -- been a long few weeks, so I think tonight is all about veggin out!

Whatever I wanted to do or and was supposed to do on that day. Unless we are talking about a tornado or tsunami or any other natural disaster I will not let weather stop me.
