"Yellowstone", a new series written and directed by "Wind River" filmmaker Taylor Sheridan, will be broadcast on the Paramount Network starting in June. The series was shot entirely on location in Utah and Montana. Kevin Costner stars as the owner of a large ranch facing challenges from land developers and the government. Sheridan stated, ""Wind River" was a real challenge in every way, the opposite of what "Yellowstone" was. We had no money, no time and I was trying to find my voice as a filmmaker. With "Yellowstone" I had time and money. I was able to see a vision through without those restrictions.â€
