Saturday night I noticed the full moon and mentioned it to my mother in law who was with me at the time. Last night it was very much so brighter.

Angie, yes, they have gone back so far in extracting DNA. The progress is quite amazing to me. My mitochondrial DNA is Haplogroup W with markers. I got it tested with the National Geo project some time ago.

Mine is K1c2 Origin: Eurasia, Arabian Peninsula, & Levant 100 to 7500 years. I'm a new kid on the block I guess. I have 1/2 Italian which makes me Heinz 57 (57 varieties).

What is haplogroup W?

I am still in a fog but am taking a class at this time.
I hope to figure it all out. mtDNA is a bit more challenging.
