Sephora has recently updated their loyalty points policy. Points will now expire after 18 months of inactivity. You're points are safe and will continue to roll over if you make purchases within 18 months, pick up your birthday gift, or redeem your existing points. This change applies to Beauty Insiders, VIB, and VIB Rouge members.

Are you serious?! How is this compared to Ulta's policy. I know you said their points expire also right? Just when I was becoming a Sephora fan, but I guess my beauty box will help me stay current since it's a monthly purchase.

Unfortunately. Ulta's points expire at the end of the quarter one year after they are earned. Your Ulta receipts, your online balance, or your monthly Ulta emails to be informed of when those points expire. Unlike Sephora points however, Ulta points can go towards money off a purchase. The Sephora beauty box is an excellent way to earn Sephora points and keep you current. As a monthly purchase you won't ever have to worry about the new policy.
