Yesterday I went to bed at 4:33 and got up at 13:27. I made an important phone call, watched a new movie at 21:45 and Rafael Nadal at the Australian Open (tv then at the 8th game had to go to the computer and stayed there for the 9th and 10th then for the 17th and part of the 18th back on the computer - after being back from the computer i checked after each games if RDS was back with him but they stayed with the other match instead). It was a very bad night and an horrible day.

I went to my pilates class, did a bit of shopping, made notes for my next article, went to a quiz night and walked over 10,000 steps. Might take the day off tomorrow.

We spent five hours in the ER with my mother in law today. We are home now and hope it stays that way.

Yesterday I went to bed at 8:57 and got up at 15:10. I watched the Dallas Stars at 19:00 and Hell's Kitchen at 23:00. It was a bad night and a very bad day.

I forgot to mention that I also wrote some notes after the show.

What I will do today is join the women's (but "all genders welcome") march in London.

"We will march, wherever we march, for the protection of our fundamental rights and for the safeguarding of freedoms threatened by recent political events. We unite and stand together for the dignity and equality of all peoples, for the safety and health of our planet and for the strength of our vibrant and diverse communities."

It's for especially the young women AND young men who have to live with the world that's being created now. It's also that I exercise my freedom and think of the women and girls around the world who cannot do this.

A lot of talk about the marches as being against the POTUS. But I see it in terms of what it stands for. It's only against the new president if he is against these principles.

Thus endeth the sermon. Time to get dressed and try to remember where Grosvenor Square is.

I bought 2 mattress covers online - the kind that covers the mattress completely and zips closed at the foot end. I stripped off the sheets first and DH and I were able to get the first one on quite easily - now to the 2nd mattress. Our bed is made up of 2 twin mattresses in a king-size wooden frame (typical here in Holland).

Yesterday I went to bed at 2:45 and got up at 12:58. I wrote some notes, watched Ghost Adventures: Aftershocks at 16:00 and 17:00, tried to find a contact email for AOL (for years i could not access the American page [always redirected to the Canadian page] then i found a way to enter it via the UK page but now that trick do not work anymore - i asked a friend who is with them to find me the email address of these imbeciles but she said that only free customers has access to that info and she is a paid customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and Rafael Nadal at the Australian Open (tv). It was a bad night and a very bad day.
