Yesterday I went to bed at 3:20 and got up at 12:10. I made an online order, watched Dr Phil at 17:00, Judge Judy at 18:00, the Dallas Stars at 20:30 and installed a new version or update of Java. It was a bad night and a very bad day.

It seems that I'm catching up on correspondence. Then I'll do some autumn tidying up in the gardens!  We're just getting over the remnants of hurricane Nicole from this week.

Yesterday I went to bed at 3:56 and got up at 12:47. I watched the Dallas Stars at 20:00 and Ghost Adventures at 0:00 (it was a 2 hour special but the first hour i had seen weeks ago as a normal episode - watched a few different movies to pass the time until). It was a bad night and a very bad day.

I had a lulu of a day today. Went to Mass; then went to the Lutheran service because my grandson's class of 3-year olds was to sing; he decided not to participate; then had some time to spend so went to JCPenneys; then went to the quarterly meeting of the historical society. We met at the Mid-Lothian mines park. Chesterfield County, VA once had thriving mining operations and this park tells that story.

Answered correspondence in the morning, went for a brisk walk in 35 F. temp. Now will take a nap then fix shepard pie for dinner. I'm just about to begin Demelza - 2nd book in the Poldark series.
