Danish director Thomas Vinterberg has signed on to direct "Kursk", a film about the Russian nuclear sub disaster which left 23 sailors trapped at the bottom of the Barents Sea. The script is based on Robert Moore's book on the incident, "A Time to Die". Casting is set to begin soon and production is slated for the fall.

The trailers for the European release of "Kursk" are online. The English-language film is headed to France first so the clips are accompanied by French subtitles. I can't believe no one is going to distribute this film in the US. Kursk Trailers and Clip
