I haven't read The Appeal yet but a few of my other faves by Grisham are: A Time to Kill, The Runaway Jury, The Rainmaker and the Street Lawyer.

I met Beverly Cleary when I was a little girl. She wrote the Ramona the Pest series and other books.

Chel, the picture is still online. I"m the 5th one along, the only one in the picture holding the book that was being promoted. Beverly Cleary is a delight. I've read some of the Ramona books. Did you know she'll be 100 on April 12? (That's also Yuri's Night.)

Mona! Great picture! I love the fact you are holding the promoted book. Yes, I did know she was going to be 100. Yet, in my mind, Ramona never ages.
