Members of the NAAFA are upset about Simon Cowell's performance on American Idol this year. Normally I let his comments go in one ear and out the other. But this week I heard him say to one woman, "Do we have a bigger stage this year?" (which is mentioned in the article) and my mouth dropped. Somebody should reign him in.

Last night he made some tacky comments after a girl had left the stage. Very unkind.

They constantly tell women they should lose weight. But do you remember season 2's winner? He was an extremely large man! Why didn't he get the weight speech, or get dinged because of his weight?

Of course, I'm also upset over the age limit. What does age have to do with talent? I'd have been there auditioning 2 years ago if it weren't for my weight and being too old! My weight I'm changing, but I can't do anything about my age. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I watched the entire second season of American Idol and Ruben Studdard did hear about his weight. So no it's just not women who get to hear about this.
