William Friedkin, who directed the 1985 film "To Live and Die in L.A.", is developing the material as a television series for WGN America. Friedkin will be the show's executive producer and director, with Bobby Moresco writing the script. Like the original film, the series will be based on the novel by former US Secret Service agent Gerald Petievich and will feature the exploits of a fearless Secret Service agent. No word yet on the cast, or if the original stars Willem Defoe and William Petersen will be appearing on the show.
