It's overcast, about 70 degrees and muggy! It's supposed to storm later.

78 degrees and overcast. Hate it when it has that grayish look. The wind is blowing just a bit. Nothing big.

We're in the dangerous storms zone, but it looks pretty calm here right now to me. The clouds blow in, the clouds blow out...

Jana -- I wonder if we're close because of that remark about the storms zone in the previous post. I know we're still under a flash flood warning until 7 pm tomorrow night. Also this morning they said on the news that as long as we stayed under 80 degrees today we would be mostly ok.

Yesterday it was mostly cloudy and windy.
At night it was windy and raining off/on.
When I went to bed it was windy.
When I got up it was windy and the sun was almost completely risen.

I'm in The Netherlands. 52nd latitude. Today is partly cloudy, but the occasional sun feels good. It is in the mid-sixties. Yesterday it rained in the morning, then the skies cleared. The highest temp. we've had this year is 80 F. and that was about a week ago. I planted tomatoes in the greenhouse 2 days ago, and green bean seeds in the open garden.

Yesterday night....The wind howled through the tree, the branches swaying, lightening crashed and thunder rolled rattling the window panes and the pictures on my wall. Rain came down in sheets, beating against the awning outside my window as a river of water streamed down the gutter at the end of my drive. We had some of THE best thunderstorms last night. It started about 8 pm and went until about 3 am. I was in heaven! I was told the tornado sirens went off. I didn't hear a thing. My creativity ran overtime!
