Yesterday it was partly cloudy and windy.
At night it was windy on/off.
It was calm when I went to bed.
When I got up it was windy and the sun was partly risen.

It's beautiful in Lisbon today. Blue sky with some puffy white clouds. Warm, but not too hot.

It's about 78 degrees here in Holdenville Oklahoma. When I got up at 8 a.m. and turned on the tv I was stunned to see all the damage caused by the 7 tornadoes that touched down in SE Oklahoma City yesterday and during the night. It was a little windy yesterday here. Today it's sunny and breezy.

I haven't caught the news today. I am so sorry to hear about the tornadoes. I heard a report that it was to snow in Colorado yesterday. Did it?

We are in a daily climate-change cycle at the moment, in this Caribbean island, it seems. Hot as hell for two days, breezy and cool the next two. The jury is still out on whether we have more to fear from Global Warming than from Global Cooling!

Jana - all the hype notwithstanding, most of the time it's just like living in the suburbs in Anytown, Anywhere! Not everybody can take the heat, and most middle-class residents spend their lives inside air-conditioned homes, offices and cars.
Still, you should probably take a cruise down this way some time, just to wander around for a few hours and see what all the fuss is about!

Angie, the trip is wonderful. It's been arranged since before the ship was even built and I've been so excited about it for a long time. She started in Istanbul and had been sailing for seven weeks before we got on - this is part of her maiden voyage. And there are still a number of things that they're still working out. But it's a lovely ship and I am very much enjoying it.
