Yes, and it often puts our ancestors' lives into a perspective that we may not have considered. My grandparents were from Italy and arrived in NYC in early 1900. I watched the Italian Americans on PBS recently and (even if they had been from somewhere else) I could envision them walking down the avenues or streets in NYC, wearing clothes of the period, entering local shops, going to the movies or theatre, and living in the brownstone apartments. Genealogy is fascinating.
WDYTYA was on last night. The show featured Josh Groban. What an interesting story.
Yesterday I went to bed at 4:08 and got up at 12:38. I ran six errands in Mont-Joli and one in Price, watched Dr Phil at 18:00, Judge Judy at 19:00, a new movie at 21:00 and The Daily Show at 0:05. It was an average night and an horrible day.
Yesterday I went to bed at 2:45 and got up at 11:13. I made an important phone call, watched Dr Phil at 15:00, Rafael Nadal at the BNP Paribas Open (television), Hell's Kitchen at 23:00 and The Daily Show at 0:05. It was a bad night and a bad day.
Yesterday I went to bed at 3:29 and got up at 12:53. I did a small load of laundry, watched Rafael Nadal at the BNP Paribas Open (internet) and The Daily Show at 0:05. It was an average night and an horrible day.
