Here in The Netherlands it is sunny and already 60 this morning - our warmest day so far - so, I'm on my way to the garden ...

Here in the western Caribbean, it's a bit breezy out at the moment. A friend of ours has had to delay his scuba-diving trip because of the choppy sea. Safety first! 83F (28C) on our kitchen thermometer, which makes for a pleasant winter for those of us who aren't diving.

Sure, rub it in......

My friend i leaving Tuesday for Turks and Cacios. She said that it was 83 there today.

It's 63 here in Central Virginia today. After two days of warm temperatures and three weeks of frigid temperatures. Spring is not too far away.

Do you have daylight savings time or do yo stay on Eastern time all year there?

At night it was windy on/off.

When I went to bed it was windy.

When I got up it was mostly cloudy and windy.

Hey Angie, and Sadhana - why not rub it in, when I can?! Hope your friend enjoys TCI, Angie, and that you yourself make it some time. I've never been there, but it seems to have fabulous beaches. We lived in Nassau for three years prior to 1970, in what were our "salad days". (I have two Australian cousins living in Virginia - and, yes, I know it's been cold there!)

Looking out the window it's got a 'cold' look with very whitish gray skies. But according to the thermometer out there -- it's 58 degrees!

I really want to visit the UK, London especially because that's where my novels are set. I don't know why I set them there but it made sense to me at the time and still does. Gotta get out of the comfort zone. I don't believe in just write what you know, you must spread your wings and experiment.
