I'm getting lots of writing done today. I re-arranged some bedroom furniture and I renewed some library books. I need to go to WalMart today and buy a yardstick and to the bank to make a deposit. I checked out a jumpsuit pattern on the Simplicity and McCall's websites that I'm going to go ahead and order. I checked on changing car insurance to The Hartford and I can save about$90 dollars a month by changing. And I also have to go to the post office.

I went to the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square and met up with a friend. We saw the exhibition "Inventing Impressionism". It showed how art dealer Paul Durand-Ruel supported the Impressionist painters and promoted their work in Paris, London and New York. Some splendid paintings.

But I had to get up earlier than usual in order to catch a train and get into central London. This is my second early morning in a row, so when I got back, I took a nap. Tomorrow I have paperwork to deal with. Also half a dozen unfinished articles on the computer, so have decided to choose one and finish it!

Alright Mona! Can't wait for your next article. I want to visit the UK someday. My novels are based there.

Well, I started off today with good intentions. I didn't get off of the house at all today. I got ready to go to Wal-Mart and the post office and the snow suddenly came down hard here. And it hasn't let up. Maybe tomorrow! (sigh)

I picked up grandson this morning and then we went to the women's group at church. For the first time he arrived at the nursery and didn't cry when I left him. When I picked up at 11:30 he was happy to see me and began to pick up toys and put them away. WOW, I was impressed. He spent the afternoon here and enjoyed himself.

I am blessed. They are so cute but they grow up so quickly. This is a difficult world to grow up in today.

Jana, in what part(s) of the UK do you set your novels? Why there? I know I couldn't manage it. I don't actually write fiction, but occasionally contemplate it, and I'd certainly have to set it somewhere I knew or just make it up.
