POTATO PARTICULAR: Mashed potatoes with any lumps makes me a closed mouth grump. Yet smashed potatoes I can enthusiastically eat until I’m full head to toes. So why I’m such a particular hyper and hypocritical potato eater only my psychiatrist knows.

CILANTRO #2: Many people have so much hateful distaste for that plant that their disherbing slant is that the cilant should not grow

EENY MEENY FORGET THE ZUCCHINI: Not exactly a favorite, eating loads of zucchini may keep you skeeny but that’s one courgette I’d like to forget-if not squash!

DAISIES

I found a daisy outside my door one day
Just as my friend was about to say
That these kinds of flowers were active and cheeky
And certainly did not behave at all garden meekly
No their colours and faces and petals and all
Make a statement for sure and heed your call
To be fresh and willing and pretty and simple
Enough to make anyone smile with a dimple
There are big ones and small ones, happy and sad
But only when you have been careless and bad
By not watering or feeding the bushes as must
See a daisy, like anyone relies on your trust.

Next? Why not try PEACHES AND PLUMS

Cheers now

Hey there exmecosmic - you beat me to it! Anyway, I am not really a Nashian poet so here is my effort ...

Soft fruits I love best are peaches and plums
They were also a favourite I say of me mum’s
Like others we both liked that dripful sweet taste
We ate everything of course, even pips we’d not waste

See those we’d use smartly mulching along
A gardening habit we knew was not wrong
Ah the picking and stewing and making of jam
And days at the market, “…none left, sorry Ma’am."

But let’s get back to those peaches and plums
A definite favourite of me and me mum’s.
In my neck of the woods it’s a seasonal delight
At the end of the year, just so … mmm … well right!

So what's next? Anything goes of course but what about BERRIES?

Cheers now
