Very good points in that article! Not having to insure all that extra stuff is another type of savings. Then there is the intangible benefit of the time we'll save in housework (less to clean), de-cluttering, driving stuff down to the charities to donate, etc.

Very good point about insurance savings, Val. Plus, it seems insurance costs more every year.

Stuff really does require a lot of time and energy. I admit that cleaning is not one of my favorite things.
