Forgot to mention that it was in Rimouski, there's not a lot of those stores especially here. Rimouski and Matane are the closest and both cities are more than two hours away so I don't get to buy their products often.

Nancy, I am sorry to hear about your insomnia. Have you ever tried chamomile tea in the evening before bedtime?

My husband and I went to Costco today and then I had to go to the grocery store to finish my shopping.

Angie,

I don't like tea so I never tried that.

It normally goes away (rarely i have insomnia...probably happened less than 5 times in my 37 years) but it has been going on for months. The worst was that I could only get a few seconds of minutes of sleep at a time with hours of trying to fall asleep in between. When I finally had a complete hour I woke up refreshed, that feeling was awesome.

I don't understand how I am still standing, usually I am a zombie with just one bad night of sleep. I space out a lot and before I was able to get one full hour of sleep I was starting to be able to talk normally but now it's better.

It's still bad but not horrible.

Nancy, I hate it when I toss and turn and cannot get to sleep. I hope your sleep returns, as you say this isn't a chronic thing for you.

Hot milk with honey might help, if you don't like tea?

Today Dan and I went out for a lunch special at our local pub. No other expenses.

Jilly,

I had a good night last night but I should not have been in bed that long (was going to add 10 hours to the time it was but did not...i did wake up after 6:00 and figured id soon get up but fell asleep soon after for another 4 hours or so) because my player is still playing in Paris, as long as it's not the Quarter Finals I will have to get up between 2:00 and 5:00.

I hate milk more than tea. When I eat cereals as a breakfast I have to add sugar with every spoon and not have lots of milk because that makes me sick otherwise (im sure i would throw up from it).

I should just learn to get up when I see that I won't fall asleep. Being up is better than staying in bed for hours awake.

I agree that it's better you should get up and do something else, rather than lie there frustrated. Let me know how it goes.

No expenses today.

Yesterday I went to the Dollar Tree and spent $70. That's a lot for me. Mostly office supplies, and things to organize/clean the house. For instance, I bought 20 of those clear shoe boxes. That makes things add up quickly.

I also met with an old college buddy downtown, and we had some beers.

So, an expensive day for me.

I went to two nurseries and purchased flowers and an outdoor thermometer. I have a gift card and used some of the funds on the card for the thermometer.

Today I paid my cell phone bill (46,05$) and spent money at three places in Amqui. 30,38$ at Brunet (1 bag of chocolate for 4,49$ and 1 tongue cleaner for 3,99$ and 6 sanitary napkins packs [2 of 3 different sizes] for 2,99$ each), 62,25$ at Hart (8 teeshirts of 6,77$ each [2 colors and 4 of each] i had a 9,54$ saving thanks to a 65 years and older card my dad has) and 13,28$ for my eyebrows electrolysis.
