Thanks for this very useful article - a good reminder and motivator!

I think that there is a time when we think that buying and gathering and keeping and collecting stuff is somehow a comfort for us and indeed we feel comfortable and safe ... but then there comes a day (and it usually sneaks up on you!) when you no longer feel comfortable or safe, and that is the day when you realise you do have too much stuff.

I liked it when you said about clearing out "Act quickly, don’t make a big decision over every single thing ... "

So true too, 'put on your Nikes,' as friend of mine says - 'JUST DO IT!'

I think people enjoy buying thing and clutter creeps up on us like weeds in a garden. Then suddenly there's too much and it's too difficult to deal with.

The only way is little and often, get rid of something from your house every day.
