Hello Tina and all,
Tina, what a very good article this is, I didn't learn anything new, BUT it was succinctly written and a very fine reminder for me - ALL the things I need to attend to regularly and in one place! You say:
"You might not think so, but you CHOOSE to carry emotional baggage. It may be difficult to get rid of, but the CHOICE is yours. If you carry too many bad thoughts they can weigh you down and REDUCE the quality of your life." The capitalisation is mine. How true this has been for me.
The other thing a person can get caught up is playing victim and blaming other people for the decisions you take and continue to make.
I believe it was Abe Lincoln who said "Most folks are as happy as they have made up their minds to be."
Emotional clutter has much to answer for - us playing victim, blaming others for our situations and complacency.
Thanks very much for your thoughts.
Cheers now
