The French have a term-du jour. It means made for a particular day.

If you have a great sandwich meal on a given day, please share with the rest of us. Just list what you had. I'll get us started.

For lunch today, I am having a warm brat on nutty grain bread with Muenster and tartar sauce.

Now, your turn!

For breakfast I had egg, cheese, and ham on an English muffin.

My sandwich lately has been a fresh garden tomato sandwich on grilled bread with mayo, basil, salt and pepper.

We have fresh tomatoes from the greenhouse ... so I had an open-face sandwich of cheese, bacon, tomato and lettuce for the top cover. 0:)

Fresh tomatoes are my favorite sandwich filling. Just sliced tomatoes with pepper, salt and mayo.

Yesterday I had vegetarian tostadas. They were made with a flat, fried tortilla, beans, cheese, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, and Jack's Special Salsa. So good!
