I was listening to the Kane show this morning, and they had an interesting topic about a mother who asked for a vacation day because her child was graduating from 6th grade. The manager said denied the request because they did not think graduating from 6th grade was important.
My questions to you:
- Have you ever been denied a vacation day?
- Does your manager ask you WHY you need the day off?
- Just because the manager didn't think it was "important enough, do you think it was fair to deny a vacation request?
