Lori -

It's sweet that your family feels so connected to you smile.

I recommend giving a little alert before you start. That's what I do with Bob. He is quite fine with allowing me the quiet time.

Only ten minutes away from the 10pm meditation! The last two nights I was out at our fire pit. Tonight I'm indoors smile Where will you be?

Here's a photo from Saturday night's fire pit smile I love our fire pit. Or Fire Cauldron, as my friend Ian would say smile.

A lovely meditation! 20 minutes, plus I added Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's Somewhere Over the Rainbow on at the end smile. How are you doing?

Lisa - you are consistently reaching 20 minutes in meditation - that is a tribute to your perseverance, which is needed by anyone with a meditation practice. Yeah! And I love your fire pit - it looks safe, too, with the cover. What a good idea!

Susan -

Bob was quite insistent on a cover, and I agreed with him. We have a lot of trees around us and we wouldn't want to hurt them smile.

I have a timer on my computer, so I think a large portion of my ability to meditate is simply that I am being reminded to do so. If I didn't have the timer, I'd probably forget most of the time smile.

I meditated in silence this time, as the house was quiet. It was lovely smile Did anybody meditate virtually with me?

Lisa, yes, I agree, a timer is a good idea to bring one to meditation. At my retreats a gong would sound, and in my community church, even now, bells ring at their appointed hours.
