Avon is a nice product and I always enjoyed their gifts as well as some of the clothing items.
Avon was an early opportunity for women to be in business and work on their own schedule.
There is a lot of competition now.

Today I went to Matane for an eye examination and I was excited to see many stores I like (1 of my fave is in the same shopping mall!!!!) but besides for my favorite drugstore (none here) I decided to shop when I will go back to pick up my glasses. At Iris I spent 394$ (the eye exam was free but only 79$ will go for my glasses [the secretay calculated it for me and it was deducted already eventhough i have to fill up a form for this] and she gave me something to mail and they [the glasses maker] will give me back 100$ by mail) and 68,27$ at Jean Coutu (a Vichy eye cream [apparently its miraculous] and a Vichy 3in1 [it serves as an eye makeup remover makeup remover and something else] i used it when i was using makeup and it was a fabulous product...hopefully they did not changed it).

I got an email from Avon tonight telling me that my order was accept by my representative, no details about when and how I would pay and no details about the shipping so I went into my account and found her email address and asked her these questions and I told her that one item is a gift for my dad's birthday that is on June 6 and another item I want to start usimng on June 5, I ordered this almost a week ago so she cannot say to me that I should of ordered these things earlier (i actually tried but they were down for maintenance when i first tried), who knew buying from Avon could be so difficult!

I spent 25 cents on a photocopy.
As for Avon she called while I was out and answered almost all my questions (the only answer she did not answered was answered in an email) so looks like I will get my things and it will be next week. I will reply to the email instead of calling her (she did say that 1 of the payment options was through email) because I don't know her so I do not know when she eats and if she has kids.

Nothing today. Which is a pretty big coup. Of course, I didn't leave the house except to go on a walk.

She called me almost immediately after I sent the email and she said that she cannot accept credit cards so I will go to the bank or post office and pay by a money order (dont really know how that works and she doesnt either). She told me that she waited that long to accept my order because she thought that Avon made a mistake giving me her because she lives in another province. She just sent me by email my receipt. 0,89$ for a men deodorant (my dad will pay me), 0,89$ for a men deodorant (my dad will pay me), 20$ for a face cream, 7,99$ for a Montreal Canadians glass (my dads birthday gift) and 2,99$ for a cold cream. The shipping is 8$ and with the taxes it's 46,87$.

Today I spent 54,94$ at the post office (money order for my Avon order, 1 stamp for a letter and an envelop with a stamp for the money order).

A friend of ours got married today and there was no wine at the bar, so I had two bottles of Sam Adams. Then we stopped at a grocery store on the way home and bought $20 (exactly!!) in groceries. So that was it for today.
