Self preservation......exactly.

I have been very focused on self preservation in the last year. Sometimes that means stepping away from the public and various social scenes. Time alone is crucial for healing and personal development. Stretching yourself too thin only hurts you in the long run.

When the weather turns I will be sure to sit out in nature to take in the sunshine and blue skies, the fresh air, and the sound of birds. I find it so healing and refreshing. I like to feel like a part of the natural world. It feels more real to me than I could ever feel being indoors.

I do the exact same thing.

I find myself sort of standing in the middle of an intersection. Just looking, left, right, up, down and kind of just with a bit of a slumping shoulder, just freeze everything and step away and let everything and everyone do whatever...it's a very busy sensation and well, when I get like that, it's just a lot of wasted energy, but they can't see it.

I do live quite privatly and yup, the winters are rough, but in those secluded moments, i force myself to step outside of my own intersection.

When I do, the Universe usually has some sort of suprising something waiting for me.

This winter, which had/has to do w/the "What do you see?" thread, I have to say...'Good Show.'

The rocks and stones were gifts. Animals brought them. I din't move them or set up a photo op, lol. i just let it unfold.

They now eat from my hand. I hold it out and with two front paws, take whatever I have and we have dinner together
