I wonder what Granpappy is doing out there in the ice and snow. Is he making a snow fort or something? Hard to tell with him. Some things are not what they appear to be when it comes to Granpappy.

The only way to get Granpappy away from mischief is to cook him up a down-home meal. Hey, Debbie, you and I are always doing the cooking. I think it is time for Granpappy and Beetle to stir up some good fixin's.

Granpappy seems to be is such a hurry all the time, so we'll need to make this snappy...

Minute Rice & Fried Spam. Unless Granpappy is lucky in bagging a squirrel in the snare he built out back by the bird feeder.

Will have Granddaughter out next weekend to brave winter camping. Think I've prepared her for approaching the environment with the right attitude. Only thing is the predictions are for wet presipitation & now the white, powdery type that brings on the added challenges & confidence buildingor just zip out when the snow falls & her school is closed - there's a learning experience.

I love Spam and Rice!

Wow! Granddaughter will have quite a learning experience on that camping trip. I admire her courage to follow her Grandfather into such a project. You are doing a great job there, Beetle.

I like Spam too. Most people I know think it is an inedible food, but I have enjoyed Spam since I was a kid. It is real big in Hawaii!

Hawaii - Spam - sounds like a Luau & we won't even need to roast Granpappy's pig to go with the poi. We'll just use the Spam.

Now where'd those grass skirts go? Thinkin' Granpappy's been packing his corn cob pipe with it lately.
