I would love to get a bird but I have a feeling the birds may naturally be afraid of reptiles. Not that they would be together but even the scent could scare them. How do you all feel about this? The conure article really got me interested. I have always loved birds but affordability was daunting! Then I read your review on the Polly's pleasure cage and found the conure affordable and am rethinking the whole situation. I don't want to cause a bird stress though. Would appreciate all advice!

I think it would depend on the reptile and how close they are housed near the bird. You obviously wouldn't want them in the same room and able to get near each other. I think any reptile able to get at the bird an example being a snake would be a very bad idea. I think this is a good open question. What do you think?
