It is beyond difficult to give up smoking. We know that it's bad for us and can lead to chronic health problems. I understand this. Thirty years ago I stopped smoking. This has been the longest that I've ever quit. My fear is that with the enough stress, a momentary lapse in judgement, and an offered cigarette, I could be smoking again. Even after thirty years.
With the new year around the corner, a good goal would be to not smoke around your loved ones. Share your love, not your smoke...and quit if you can. Do it one day at a time.
