I took Friday off with a cold and body aches and had hoped to be better by today because I had to facilitate a class. Today, however, I was still incredibly stuffy and according to the class wheezing and needed to go to the doctor. I would have but other issues kept me from teaching the class the week before so I would have felt quilty bailing two weeks in a row. I did leave after I taught my section and am home now in bed again.
I'm rarely sick so I have over 600 hours of sick leave banked but that's not the issue for me, it was committment to the class.
So do you go to work when you're sick? Where do you draw the line?
