If you're taking antihistamines, you need to check with your healthcare provider to see if your medication increases sun sensitivity. In some cases, antihistamines may increase your chances of skin cancer. Read the latest post on the Allergies and Colds page to find out more at http://www.bellaonline.com/site/allergiesandcolds

My brother-in-law was just at my home for a visit. He kept complaining of heat and sun sensitivity. He takes antihistamines and a number of other medications. I immediately thought of the photosensitivity issue tied to many medications and suggested he check with his pharmacist/healthcare provider.
