In 2009 a leading German magazine Brigitte decided to promote "real women" on its pages instead of tall, thin professional models, but the plan wasn't quite as successful as was hoped.

There were difficulties working with amateur models and, although the idea was welcomed by most, there were questions as to what was a "real" woman. Now the magazine is considering stopping the policy.

What do you think? Was it a good idea which just didn't work out, or do we prefer to see a photo-shopped, thin and young "model" advertizing the latest lipstick or whatever.
