In the mid 1700s, the American colonists were strongly opposing all the taxation imposed upon them by the British Parliament. Ben signed, helped to write, and negotiated the Treaty of Paris in 1783, which ended the Revolutionary War.

As Independence Day is a reminder to all Americans that we won the right to be a free country, let us not forget to keep ourselves well-informed so as to make wise decisions when November elections roll around.
Thank you to all armed forces military personnel who put their lives in danger for our freedom -- let them not have fought or died in vain.

Awww! You know, I know you do. It was the Boston Campaign. You sure you and Granpappy were not there? If you had been we may have won the war much earlier.
What major and famous event occurred prior to the Boston Campaign and the first actual battles took place. The event happened in the harbor.
