Just watched the documentary Bill Cunningham New York about an 80something year old street style photographer for the NY Times who's been photographing street fashion since the 60s. The movie was very inspiring, funny, and at times kind of sad. The link is a trailer in case you want a preview. If you love fashion you will love this movie.

Bill said sooo many great things in the movie including this quote that inspired my next life purpose inspiration blog post:

"The wider world perceives fashion as frivolity that should be done away with. The point is that fashion is... the armour to survive the reality of everyday life! I don't think you can do away with it, it would be like doing away with civilization." Bill Cunningham
