Thanks so much for the tip Windows key + S to start the screen capture. Once the information to be captured is highlighted the Select Location in OneNote dialog appears. Select the location and click on Send to Selected Location.

The clipped item can be pasted into any product using CTRL + V

I'm travelling with my Notepad and that doesn't seem to have the Snipping Tool that is on my desktop pc.

This is one of my favorite features in OneNote. I keep track of order confirmations, product descriptions of items I add to my crafting supplies and more.

Peter - what version of Windows and OneNote are you running on your Notebook?

The snipping tool for Windows was included in Windows 7 while the snipping tool for office was introduced in OneNote 2007 (I believe - can't confirm if it was available in an earlier version).
