Hey...that 5 gallon tank I picked up at the local transfer station..the one where the light didn't work....well..
I looked up the manufacturer who is "Hawkeye International" and I sent them an email explaining how the light didn't work and is there some way I can get it fixed. The customre rep emailed me back and said they would be happy to send me a replacement hood at no charge !!
Boy, was I surprised!! Feeling guilty somewhat I sent a replay back stating that I had not actually bought this tank, but picked it up at the dump and did they still want to send me a replacement? The reply was..."Sure ! We'll send you another hood, just send us your address"
If ever you are having any problems with equiptment...Do, without hesitation, contact the manufacturer...you just never know what they'll do for you! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> (can't wait for my hood to arrive! <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> )
